HTTPS support?

Hi,

First of all, thanks a lot for the quick reply & fix on the other issue.
I was trying to add this MCP to Claude Desktop / to some custom code calling Claude APIs, but Anthropic enforces to use HTTPS. So I was curious to understand if there are any plans for this?

HTTPS has been supported since v2.1.0 (Zero-Configuration Networking) and was enhanced in v3.0.0. Here's how to enable it:

Option 1: Auto-generated Self-signed Certificates (Easiest)

🔐 Certificate Details

Self-signed Certificate Features:

• ✅ Automatically generated with OpenSSL
• ✅ 365-day validity period
• ✅ Cached and reused until expiration
• ✅ Subject: /C=US/ST=Local/L=Local/O=MCP Memory Service/CN=localhost

Production Certificate Support:

• ✅ Custom SSL certificate files
• ✅ Let's Encrypt compatible
• ✅ Corporate certificate support

🚨 Browser Security Warnings

For self-signed certificates, browsers will show security warnings. To accept:

1. Chrome/Edge: Click "Advanced" → "Proceed to localhost (unsafe)"
2. Firefox: Click "Advanced" → "Accept the Risk and Continue"
3. Safari: Click "Show Details" → "Visit this website"

2. Use port 443 if needed:

3. Accept the self-signed certificate in your browser/client
4. Use custom certificates for production deployments
