[Feature Request] Add keybinding to hide all applications but not the current application

It would be great if I could hide all applications, except the current one, by pressing a keyboard shortcut.

This function might not be in line with your goals, but it is something I like to do before entering a screenshare session. Under X11 this was easy to script, but things have changed under Wayland....

Thank you! Currently I don't know when I will release version 16.3. You can already have this feature by using the files I shared and then update to 16.3 when it will be released. You can manually install the extension, if you already know how to do you can stop reading.

You only need to download one of the two archives, according to your GNOME Shell version. To know your GNOME Shell version, run gnome-shell --version.

Extract the downloaded archive. Copy its content to ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/tilingshell@ferrarodomenico.com directory. You need to reload GNOME Shell afterwards (e.g. by logging out). Et voilà, you will have this feature!
