[Feature Request]: Set start point of split at ~50%

Thanks for this extension 👏, I came over to it from WinTile after reading about it in the coverage on OMG Ubuntu's site.

When adding a new split it would be nice for it to start at the 50% point, or there abouts if available space is not divisible by 2. Part of what brought this about was having to use the mouse to try to get an exact value and arrow keys weren't working to move the bar as I expected (and I didn't try it but I didn't see if I could click on the values to set a numerical value)

It's only a minor issue when setting up new layouts in the first instance however this is potentially the first thing that you're trying to do after installing the extension for the first time.

When I started Tiling Shell as a hobby project just for myself, the editor where working like that. However it was too much limited.

Just a little brainstorming, these are the three main ideas:

• When splitting, you can hold a key (maybe CTRL or ALT or SUPER) to split in a half
• Click on the values to set a numerical value (as you tried!). However this may be confusing (when you change the value of one tile, that would affect the values of the other tiles...)
• When splitting, if your mouse is at ~50% of the tile it stops there, and the split will never reach floating point percentages

Oh yes, I wouldn't want us to go back to that, more flexibility is needed, because of things like ultrawide screens where you might have three columns and 50% doesn't make sense there. Maybe snapping points would make sense which is what I think that you're referring to with when the mouse is at 50%, maybe it should be sticky around certain points, not stuck, so that you can still get to some other break point. I could see something like 50%, 33% 25% being popular.

I'd like whatever you decide on to be obvious to new users (like myself). That can be as simple as an overlay somewhere on the layout editor, like a legend, for any helpful keyboard shortcuts.

I do think that this is fairly intuitive. You have a fixed number of pixels, you can see that when moving the bars with the mouse at the moment. You'd probably have to make only the direction that makes sense editable (So if I add a horizontal split of vertical space then I can only change the height of one of the panels.)
