- I have tried with the latest version of Docker Desktop
- I have tried disabling enabled experimental features
- I have uploaded Diagnostics - not needed in my case - asking for a UX improvement
Actual behavior
These two buttons are visually similar and are located pretty close, which is an accident waiting to happen.
Yes, one is big and red, and there is a confirmation dialog after accidentally pressing the delete container button.
So I always thought that one must be pretty dumb to make this mistake, but yesterday I managed to make it, despite knowing about this danger and working with docker desktop for a long time without issues before.
So if I did it - somebody else might as well, so you might save somebody lots of frustration
Expected behavior
Better separation between these two buttons.
May be clear log moved to the bottom of the window? Than it's much harder to accidentally click on wrong button
Information
- Windows Version: 11
- Docker Desktop Version: 4.17.0
- WSL2 or Hyper-V backend? Both
- Are you running inside a virtualized Windows e.g. on a cloud server or a VM: no
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Open container
- Open "logs" tab
- Be a bit tired and accidentally press wrong button and "ok" in a confirmation dialog immediately after
