If any way to set sub-uri to /redmine

If any way to set sub-uri to /remdine with version 3.2.0-passenger.
when I use apache to proxy for /redmine to http://ip:3000
It don't work find.
may lack knowledge to rails + passenger for me
I search from google and I can not found vaild way to reset sub-rui to it

This is working only for sub-url but the css layout isn't working, anyone ever get this working yet?

I had to replace the line

Rails.application.initialize!

to

RedmineApp::Application.routes.default_scope = { :path => '/redmine', :shallow_path => '/redmine' }
RedmineApp::Application.initialize!
Redmine::Utils::relative_url_root = '/redmine'

in config/environment.rb

So... I have tried that also but keep getting an error in the redmine container that the Redmine::Utils::relative_url_root = '/redmine' is an unexpected line in the config

Someone made another version of redmine here with the env variable to set the sub-folder https://github.com/sameersbn/docker-redmine#deploy-to-a-subdirectory-relative-url-root

It would be nice to have this in the official redmine docker image.

There should be an environment variable for this! I suggest RELATIVE_URL_ROOT, corresponding to the config/environment.rb-parameter Redmine::Utils::relative_url_root.

I'll provide a patch…

I had to replace the line

This workaround fixed the problem for me.

After changing the configuration, I saved the custom image with the command

sudo docker commit 3df4db7ec633 redmine/custom

And changed the docker-compose.yml file to use it.

The apache config is like this:

    ProxyPass http://127.0.0.1:3000/redmine/
    ProxyPassReverse http://127.0.0.1:3000/redmine/
</Location>

Wasn't this accepted as a solution?
That one would make it easier to run redmine.
