Unable to pull the latest mongo

When issuing a docker pull mongo command, I get the following error:

Using default tag: latest
latest: Pulling from library/mongo
failed to copy: httpReadSeeker: failed open: unexpected status code https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/library/mongo/blobs/sha256:8b827c3800ab9d6d6465c92ced5bac271f4318e4613f73ee9dffccd4131ce081: 301 Moved Permanently

I am able to pull other docker images docker.io (e.g. mysql), so I do not think it is an network connection issue.

We're also having problems pulling pretty much any tag. It looks like the latest release might have not gone well?

I am getting an error as well when pulling any mongo image:

Same here, it looks like all images pushed 2 hours ago are corrupted, for example, this one:

Works for me now on both macos and ubuntu.

There was an active incident on Docker Hub (fix already deployed), not an issue with the mongo image specifically: https://www.dockerstatus.com/pages/incident/533c6539221ae15e3f000031/68404141ff590105def61dec.

image config verification failed for digest

We cannot push an image that doesn't match its digest, since every blob and manifest are verified on upload. So, in the future, this error is more likely to be a network issue, a problem with the registry, or a local system issue.
