What changed

  • harden attributed Chinese owner scope-narrowing extraction for short capture drafts and long closeout transcripts
  • keep source-less formal decisions minimal instead of filling empty boilerplate fields
  • accept and classify Windows C:\\, C:/, and /c/ path forms
  • add a reproducible cold-start FLG/no-FLG fixture and continuity-input report
  • restore Core continuity to the README opening and place AML results as independent validation evidence
  • consolidate the 2026-08-11 and 2026-08-16 misses into one confirmed P0 iteration

Why

Two real Chinese owner-scope decisions were missed, while a friend's Windows trial exposed cold-start continuity and path-handling gaps. This change turns those observations into bounded regressions and a reproducible local candidate.

Impact

Owner-attributed scope decisions survive both concise and long-form workflows with clearer provenance. Formal records contain fewer invented placeholders, and Windows-style paths receive explicit compatibility coverage.

Validation

  • full test suite: 228 passed
  • forced source-tree smoke: passed
  • git diff --check: passed
  • governance reindex: 46 formal decisions and 49 source episodes
  • flg doctor --strict: Overall OK
  • deterministic cold-start input preflight: ordinary files 1/6, FlowGrid pack 6/6

Unverified boundaries

  • the candidate has not been executed on a real Windows host
  • the cold-start fixture has not yet been run through two isolated fresh-agent sessions
  • the A/B report measures continuity information availability only; it does not establish answer quality, user satisfaction, or cross-session improvement
