Options to compute the quadratic multiplication, $x^T A x$

$x^T A x$ in principle has some potential for optimizations when compared to a more general scalar product $x^T A y$, is there support for this beyond the more general scalar product? If so, how might I implement use it?

I'm more interested in my API not imposing the trait bound required by explicitly transposing a vector.

I noticed that we have dot, I'm using (a * y).dot(x) instead of the transpose, this is an improvement, but not specific to this rayleigh quotient form in Sturm-Liouville
