I played around a bit in the configurator, maybe this is already possible and I just didn't figure it out, but the settings are labelled pretty well, so I think I would've found it if it was possible. So here are a few things I would like to see implemented:
- Extend the drag tool configuration in such a way, that different tools can be used with each mouse button
- Most importantly left/right/middle mouse button, mb
- Add the ability to configure a default colour for each drag tool
- The idea behind this is, that you could for example set left mouse to pen tool with one colour and right mouse to pen tool with another colour. Different colours on left/right click is something almost all drawing programs have implemented and is something I use regularly, so having to switch colours via hotkey feels a bit clunky for me (mostly when working with just two colours, it's great when using many different colours)
- Ideally presets would save those settings so users could easily switch between different configurations at the click of a button
- Add a click through "tool" as a drag tool option that allows you to click through wayscriber and on the window(s) behind it, alternatively this could be called ignore or disabled in the settings
- Sometimes I want/need to quickly click on things behind wayscriber to for example change pages or go to the next slide of a presentation
- This would also allow the user to set regular clicks to go through wayscriber and only draw while holding a modifier. For me this would be the ideal way to seamlessly integrate wayscriber into some of my existing workflows
