Support for 2K resolution VODs

For almost a year now, Twitch has allowed channels that request it to set a 2K (1440p) resolution for their VODs.

Even in its latest version, Twitchlink does not support the native resolution of these live streams, not going beyond 1080p.

I know this was requested some time ago but has not been implemented.

Unfortunately, Twitch removes this native resolution a week after the live stream, making it difficult to preserve the content at the highest quality without its support.

It seems like Twitchlink supports 1440p from live downloads, but it doesn't appear on VOD downloads. I'm unsure about scheduled downloads.

I have noticed that the one streamer I always record streams from, that streams in 2k, fails to auto download like 50% of the time, I have to retry until it works. (Even when changing to download in 1080p it does the same)

I’ve noticed that none of the download options go beyond 1080p; this issue had already been reported in the past when Twitch introduced 1440p.

And that’s a shame, because it’s the only user-friendly software for downloading VODs as they’re being updated.
