Question about placeholders for room category and room number

Hi,

I wanted to ask if there is a placeholder for room category and room number in booking confirmation and invoice template.

Also, how can I include the current date in the booking confirmation template?

Finally, could you point me to where I can find all possible placeholders myself? Is there a documentation, file, or structure I should look into?

The most important placeholders can be found in the editor itself:

Based on the selected template type a list with possible placeholders is given. Infos can be found here.
If you want to do some more "advanced" stuff, this is not documented at the moment. But basically you can access all attributes provided by entities of the application. You can find the entities in the Entity folder.
So e.g. if you are in the loop to print all apartment positions

you can access all getter available in the InvoiceAppartment entity.
The entity has a getter for getNumber(). In your template you would write (without the "get"):

Getting the room category is harder ;)
The invoice position itself is not connected to the original apartment or room category, but only the invoice with the reservation(s).

You need to loop over all reservations that are connected with this invoice. reservations is an array, as you can add many reservations during the invoice create process.

There is one more question that is important for me:

How can I access the type of the customer_addresses table within the template context?

My goal is to avoid maintaining multiple templates for private and business customers and instead create the content dynamically using conditional logic directly in the template, for example by using if statements, as I am already doing here with the salutation:

Inside the template "TWIG" is used. Therefore, searching the internet for TWIG + <whatever you want to do> should point you to the right direction.

where date represents the php date function and you can use it like you would use it in php

You are inside the template for reservations, right?
reservation1 represents the first reservation you've selected, and it represents the Reservation entity. From there the booker attribut represents the entity Customer and if you have the customer you can loop over the customer addresses (it's an array) where each elemet represents CustomerAddresses entity.

in reservation template , i can correctly output the address type.

I tried to use the address type only for a conditional check, to display either the company name or the last name depending on the type. However, the following does not work as expected:

As soon as I add this, invoice generation fails with a server error.
According to the database entry, invoice.paymentMeans should return the value 58, so I’m not sure why rendering this field causes an internal error.

paymentMeans represents the enum PamentMeansCode
If you want to access it you need to do:

This is not possible unfortunately :( PaymentMeans is used for the electronic invoice ZUGFeRD / XRechnung and it must follow the code list of UNTDID 4461; therefore it is a predefined list. In FewohBee we use only a small subset of the list.

My current version of a dynamic invoice template, which still needs some fine-tuning in places, is already heading in a good direction. There are cases where the guest’s name should not appear on the invoice, and I am still figuring out how to handle that without creating an additional template.
