Are there any plans officially from the Deno team to emulate the runtime inside of a browser?

I feel like it should be upto the runtime to add this feature instead of a userland implementation like WebContainers for Node by StackBlitz. We really have an opportunity to build an open source alternative but for Deno backed by the official team and the community. I really hope the team will consider this on their roadmap at some point. Appreciate any effort in this regard; please we desperately need an open source alternative and that too for Deno.

Why would you want to emulate Deno in the browser?
