Cannot parse an event

Hi!
When I was trying to parse one of my flp files, I encountered the following warning:

D:\Anaconda3\lib\site-packages\pyflp\_events.py:477: UserWarning: Cannot parse event 233 as event size is not a multiple of struct size
  f"Cannot parse event {id} as event "

It breaks my code, which works fine on some other FLP files.

Does anyone know what the event is that cannot be parsed and why it is the case?

Event 233 is ArrangementID.Playlist a list of structs, which requires the playlist items to be of a certain specified size (else I wouldn't know how to divide them into each item). The FLP you are trying to parse seems to be saved with either a very new version of FL Studio (21, because I tested 20.9 myself) or a very old version.

Can you send me the FLP?

Thank you for your answer Demberto! I think the problem might be that I just updated my FL studio from 20.9 to 21. The code used to work on files saved 20.9 but now it fails after I saved with 21. I am trying to confirm this by downgrading my FL but it is not as intuitive as I thought. Will let you know once I complete that.

Hi Demberto. I just confirmed that the problem was created by FL upgrade. I saved the same file in versions 20.9 and 21 and parsed them with the same code. Only the one parsing 21 broke.

Added support for FL 21 playlist events via commit 6ffd859.
Install the latest commit directly via pip (you might need to reinstall), it should work.
