Issue with USB4VC compatibility when using KVM switches #29

I am writing to report a technical issue I’m experiencing with my USB4VC.

It appears that the device refuses to function correctly when connected through a KVM switch. I have tested this with four different KVM models, and the result is consistently the same: as soon as the USB4VC is routed through a KVM, both the mouse and the gamepad stop working entirely.

When connected directly to the machine without the KVM in the chain, the peripherals work as expected. However, since I use multiple setups, passing through a KVM is essential for my workflow.

Are there any known compatibility issues with KVM HID emulation or specific settings I should adjust on the USB4VC to allow the signal to pass through these switches?

"To provide more context, everything works perfectly when I plug the USB4VC directly into the MS-DOS PC. This behavior is quite confusing because the setup worked flawlessly before, and this issue started occurring overnight without any changes to the hardware.

I haven't performed any updates (and I noticed there haven't been any new releases on GitHub regardless). I have also ruled out power issues by testing several official Raspberry Pi power supplies, but the problem persists whenever a KVM is involved.

I don't understand why this stopped working suddenly when it was stable before. Any insight would be greatly appreciated."
