Ajemi randomly turning on

I've had to uninstall Ajemi as I'd not switched to it, but when I'd start typing it'd just be on.
It's in my IME list along with Japanese. I usually Switch IME with ALT + Shift but it just comes on without me hitting those keys nor pulling up the IME window.

If there's some other way to activate it, how can I turn it off? It's not listed when I pull up the other IME hotkey panel under "Change Input HotKeys" the "Text Services and Input Languages" windows.

Actually, I've had this issue myself. I hadn't opened an issue about it because I assumed it was a Windows issue rather than an Ajemi issue. No luck fixing it.

I had the same problem, and found out by trial and error that ctrl+shift is a default Windows shortcut for switching keyboards within the same language. It's an easy combination to hit accidentally, or when absentmindedly changing your mind about hitting ctrl+shift+something else.

I don't know whether it's possible to turn the shortcut off, but you should be able to circumvent the problem by adding Ajemi to a different language or dialect than the one you use by default. Which, looking at the options on my own PC, seems to be easier said than done, because I can't simply add Ajemi to another language.

I guess it should be possible if you uninstall Ajemi, add e.g. English (Canada) to your language list with your preferred keyboard layout, and then reinstall Ajemi as a copy of that layout.

It turns out you can change that keybinding! From here:

1. Go to settings.
2. Time & Language
3. Typing
4. Advanced keyboard settings
5. Input language hot keys
6. Change Key Sequence...
