Visual Challenge - Outlook Mobile (Search page)

I tried to recreate the Search page UI

The end result looks like this:

What went well

• Designed everthing on an Android device. After finishing the design, I tested once on iOS,it was nice to see that I didn't have to do any additonal design adjustments (changing margins, padding).
• Big fan of the collectionview, creating horizontal lists was a breeze.
• Well detailed blog posts and docs
• Didn't know boxview had a cornerradius feature. I could create circles using this one.
• Vs2019 debug builds were very quick.

What didn't go well

• On iOS, after repeated scrolling of the collectionview, the text would appear empty. Again maybe an issue with simulator.
  

• Faced an issue with StringFormat had to resolve with this solution

• If the bottom navigation bar tabs didnt have text, than a blank space would render below the icons.

Want to see next:

• Ability to set a border and border radius for layout controls.
• DataTemplate support for CollectionView.
• Big fan of Fluent design, as it's developed by Microsoft hoping that it will be integrated in Forms over time.
