Purpose

This PR updates dependencies and fixes a CSS class selector.

Approach

The primary changes involve updating various Node.js dependencies to their latest compatible versions and correcting a CSS class selector in the _inputs.scss file.

Key Modifications

  • Dependency Updates: The yarn.lock file has been updated to reflect newer versions of numerous npm packages, including significant updates to postcss, cssnano, and related plugins.
  • CSS Fix: The SCSS selector &:metadata has been changed to &.metadata in src/stylesheets/doi/components/_inputs.scss. This corrects the selector to properly target elements with the class metadata.

Important Technical Details

The dependency updates bring in newer features and bug fixes from the respective packages. The change in _inputs.scss ensures that the CSS targeting the metadata class works as intended.

Types of changes

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)

Reviewer, please remember our guidelines:

  • Be humble in the language and feedback you give, ask don't tell.
  • Consider using positive language as opposed to neutral when offering feedback. This is to avoid the negative bias that can occur with neutral language appearing negative.
  • Offer suggestions on how to improve code e.g. simplification or expanding clarity.
  • Ensure you give reasons for the changes you are proposing.
