Prerequisites

• Google Chrome Browser
• Basic understanding of Chrome extension installation

Installation (Developer Mode)

Step 1: Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/dassan/timezone-organizer.git
cd timezone-organizer

Step 2: Open Chrome Extensions

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Navigate to chrome://extensions/
3. Enable "Developer mode" (toggle switch in the top right corner)

Step 3: Load Unpacked Extension

1. Click "Load unpacked"
2. Browse and select the timezone-organizer folder you just cloned
3. The extension should now appear in your Chrome extensions list

Usage

Adding Time Zones

1. Click the gear/settings icon in the bottom right of your new tab page
2. Click "Add Time Zone"
3. Fill in:
   • Name (e.g., "New York, United States")
   • Time Zone (select from the dropdown)
   • Label (3-letter code, e.g., "NYC")
4. Click "Save"

Customization

• Toggle 24-hour format in the options
• Enable/disable donation message
• Reorder and manage time zones

Troubleshooting

• Ensure you're using the latest version of Google Chrome
• Check that you've enabled Developer mode
• Verify all extension files are present in the cloned directory
