[Dot Shorthands] DAP Implementation

Do we need any work here for the new feature?

I don't think there's anything in DAP that would be affected by this, but it may depend on whether there are any related VM Service changes.

@derekxu16 I see in #59875 there's some entries about expression evaluation - do you think there would be any changes that could affect (or need implementing) in DAP?

I think the answer is likely no, but I'll report back on this issue once I've addressed the tasks in #59875.

Yeah, I’ve just addressed #59875 and didn’t find anything that warranted DAP changes, so I’m going to close this issue. I’ll reopen it if I discover that I overlooked something.
