The new github alerts functionality does render this properly:

> [!Note]
> Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor
> incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

But does not render this correctly (the 2nd paragraph isn't considered part of the alert):

> [!Note]
> Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor
> incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.
>
> Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor
> incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.
