Description
The "Duplicates" feature of darktable for me is the perfect way to use different processing steps for different outputs, i.e. for the blog or for large scale prints or leporello books. However I happen to inadvertently change a finished processing stack of image, when I want to adapt it to a new purpose.
I would like to see a possibility to "lock" a duplicate, so that it hinders me to modify a finished processing stack.
A symbol of a padlock in lighttable view and in the duplicate manager would indicate that an image is locked for further modifications.
The duplicate manager also would be a good place for switching the lock on or off, as well as the "actions on selection" tool in the lighttable
Currently I am using a LOCKED tag as indicator, but of course this is too easy to ignore.
