Internet Explorer 9: not enough stack space

When using the demo with IE9 i get the this message: SCRIPT28: not enough stack space in FileAPI.min.js

Any idea why this happens ?

what's the size of the file you are trying to upload

All these are throwing the same message as mentioned.

+1 Just ran into this when implementing the lib in a project. Also can confirm broken on the demo page.

Does it work in IE8?

I updated the demo page to use the latest version.
Could you verify if the issue still exists?

IE8 runs into a separate issue related to the FileAPI library where it can't access hasOwnProperty on an object.

Is this related to angular not being able to escape out of an $apply or digest cycle? Or is it related to the FileAPI lib.

I am testing it with IE8 and it works fine with Flash Player 11.9.900
What version of Flash Player do you have? Right click on the browse button to see the version.

It probably was working the entire time, I had changed the snapshot of my VM back to it's virgin state so flash hadn't been installed. that may have been @mrzmyr's issue as well.
However my implementation is still not working but is probably related to sourcing the FileAPI library.

If you don't have flash installed you would see "Flash is required" message in front of the browse button.
Any suggestion to make this more obvious?

OK I think I am gonna make the browse button disabled if Flash is not installed and show the message: "Please install Adobe Flash Player" in front of it.
This should be better. It will be released with the next minor version.

It may be better to leave it up to the designer/dev to style and just toggle a property in the scope like $scope.flash_installed. However if the FileAPI lib is handling the display of this message we may not be able to prevent it?

I'm aligned with @destos idea of getting the "flash is not installed" state into the controller to set visuals on my own.

Ok I am just gonna leave the input element without any message, but when you try to upload without Flash you gonna get an alert.
And to check if the flash is available or not you can use: window.XMLHttpRequest.__hasFlash.

The code is checked in but the version is not released yet.
