This is a simulation. There are 3 stages. Each stage requires a file to process take relevant data.

Project Stages

Stage 1 – Planet Escape Velocity

• Input: Planet data file
• Functionality:
  • Computes escape velocity for each planet

Stage 2 – Rocket Escape Time

• Input: Rocket data file
• Functionality:
  • Computes the rocket’s escape time for each planet

Stages 3–6 – Interplanetary Travel Simulation

• Input: Solar system data file
• Functionality:
  • Straight-line rocket journey between any two planets
  • Angular position calculations
  • Journey simulation when planets are not aligned
  • Dynamic simulation where the solar system continues evolving after selecting a transfer window
