HAVC installer v2.5.0
HAVC installer v2.5.0 — qwen-2511 native int8, the qwen21-turbo family, paired split-TE and the Unsharp Mask pre-filter.
The qwen-2511 (gguf-qwen) backend now ships the official Comfy-Org int8 ConvRot checkpoints, loaded through the native UNet loader so the int8 kernels run natively (no GGUF per-op dequant): qwen-2511_int8 (16 GB class) and qwen-2511_q3 (GGUF Q3_K_S, 12 GB class) replace the retired Q4–Q8 quants. Fast Pipeline now supports this family with the cached-TE split (ref_te_edit/): ~7.3 s/frame against ~10.5 s/frame of the standard path (17-frame field test, 2 steps); the standard single-pass path is ~1.8 s/frame faster too, with byte-identical output. Settings saved in the older format are migrated automatically.
A third Qwen-Image-2.1 family joins the line: qwen21-turbo (Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo, int8 ConvRot) — same loading path as qwen21-viggle, but the checkpoint carries its own fixed 8-step sigma schedule (the Colorization Steps setting does not apply) and there is no image-aware prompt enhancer. Configs: qwen21_turbo_int8 and qwen21_turbo-fast_int8.
Two new optional keys work for every split-TE family (qwen21-viggle / qwen21-turbo / qwen-2511): fast_split_TE makes Fast Pipeline pair consecutive frames — merged side by side before the text encoder, split back after the transformer: one TE pass and one sampling pass per two frames (~2.3 s/frame for the paired turbo split against ~4.5 s/frame single); split_TE_resolution sets the split-TE area budget (default 1024).
The default stays qwen21_viggle-soft_int8 at 2 steps (installer, manager and launchers all seed it): in the film field tests the turbo family colors better — richer, more accurate hues — but is noticeably less stable between similar frames; over a whole film that reads as visible color flicker and outweighs the better rendition. The paired turbo variant is a middle ground, though some frames come out almost black-and-white.
New in the GUI: the optional Unsharp Mask input pre-filter (checkbox + radius 1–4, default 2) on the Colorization tab and in Fix Image; the progress bar now spans the whole video — a resumed run restarts from the real percentage instead of 0% — and the chunk-cleanup log line flags TE cache left over by an interrupted run. The curated prompt list was updated.
Under the hood: the vendored ComfyUI-GGUF-Reboot runtime is updated to v26-10-11 — for GGUF Qwen3-VL text-encoder setups the matching mmproj sidecar is now found with mixed file naming, and ambiguous matches fail loudly instead of silently picking a file.

- HAVC-Setup-2.5.0.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: 34601120c5ca9d9e05db92067cf887aa28148d2ad238888b64577912e3d48534
- havc-2.5.0-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: 9376a87933e5ce5181a97fa42c1a6747969eb0e708d5d0d060d53b9351d793df
- release.json — the release manifest read by the installer/manager (sha256 for every artifact). Pinned packages and the ComfyUI runtime live in the stable asset release HAVC Assets v1.0.3 (diffusers, spatial_correlation_sampler,
comfy_bridge_v0.33.zip);tools.zip/NVEncCstay in v1.0.0; vscmnet2 comes from dan64/vs-cmnet2.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, NVIDIA RTX 30/40/50, CUDA 13.0+. By backend: qwen21-viggle / qwen21-turbo 14 GB+ VRAM (12 GB+ with Fast Pipeline) / 32 GB+ RAM; qwen-2511_int8 16 GB+ / 48 GB+ (qwen-2511_q3: 12 GB+ / 32 GB+); longcat-gguf 12 GB+ / 32 GB+. Model weights are downloaded on first use and preserved across updates.
Notes: installer releases (and their wheel) stay on the 2.x.x line; the 1.x.x tags are reserved for asset buckets. Updates are incremental and keep the existing installation folder: the new comfy_bridge_v0.33.zip is re-extracted automatically (the runtime zip has a new file name; local model files are preserved). The qwen-2511 configs were renamed (qwen-2511_int8 / qwen-2511_q3) and the qwen21-turbo configs are new, so if the manager reports customized configs, accept Update configs to pick them up (a .bak of the previous file is kept). In case of problems, the update rolls back by itself (the previous wheel stays in cache\); Repair recovers a partially applied update.

HAVC Assets v1.0.3
HAVC Assets v1.0.3 — stable asset bucket: comfy_bridge_v0.33.zip.
The vendored ComfyUI runtime zip now ships the runtime changes used by HAVC installer v2.5.0: the qwen-2511 (gguf-qwen) native int8 loader support (stock UNetLoader branch + the wrap_param partial-unload fix), the qwen21-turbo family, the ComfyUI-GGUF-Reboot v26-10-11 update (Qwen3-VL mmproj sidecar lookup) and the models/diffusion_models skeleton. diffusers and spatial_correlation_sampler are re-pinned here as well, so a single --bucket-tag v1.0.3 covers all pinned assets for the 2.5.0 installer. tools.zip/NVEncC remain in HAVC Assets v1.0.0 (URLs unchanged); vscmnet2 comes from dan64/vs-cmnet2.
Bucket update from v1.0.2: comfy_bridge refreshed (v0.32 → v0.33 — the new file name is what makes existing installs re-extract it; the bootstrap's .source marker only tracks the name). The two wheels are byte-identical to v1.0.2 and were re-uploaded so v1.0.3 works as the single --bucket-tag for the next installer release.
These assets are not downloaded directly: the installer/manager reads the URLs and sha256 from the release manifest (release.json).
HAVC installer v2.4.0
HAVC installer v2.4.0 — qwen21-viggle colorizes about 2× faster, and colorize runs resume where they stopped.
Fast Pipeline on the qwen21-viggle family now splits colorization in two cached phases: each frame's text-encoder conditioning is computed once and cached (ref_te/), then the sampling runs with the UNet resident — ~3.0 s/frame against ~6.1 s/frame on a 708-frame field test. Frames are processed in chunks of 200 and a chunk's cache is deleted once its frames are colorized, so storage stays bounded and a cancelled run resumes from the first missing frame. The standard path is ~1 s/frame faster too (the unused negative text-encoder pass is skipped), and its runs now skip frames already colorized in ref_qwen/. All five qwen21-viggle configs move to the int8 ConvRot text encoder: faster and cleaner output in side-by-side tests. The GUI also keeps the B&W preview updated during the infer phase.

- HAVC-Setup-2.4.0.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: 8d05628e38649177412c28870c38ac312421b08e090dc5b970fc452aaf56b314
- havc-2.4.0-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: 6339d88eaa72bf52951b73ecee0c9d7758b1400bcb4497e017f1a7ffc6a2c3a1
- release.json — the release manifest read by the installer/manager (sha256 for every artifact). Pinned packages and the ComfyUI runtime now live in the stable asset release HAVC Assets v1.0.2 (diffusers, spatial_correlation_sampler,
comfy_bridge_v0.32.zip);tools.zip/NVEncCstay in v1.0.0; vscmnet2 comes from dan64/vs-cmnet2.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, NVIDIA RTX 30/40/50, CUDA 13.0+. With Fast Pipeline enabled, the qwen21-viggle pipeline now runs comfortably on GPUs with 12 GB of VRAM (peak usage around 11 GB); in standard mode the requirement is unchanged (14 GB+). Model weights are downloaded on first use and preserved across updates.
Notes: installer releases (and their wheel) stay on the 2.x.x line; the 1.x.x tags are reserved for asset buckets. Updates are incremental and keep the existing installation folder: the new comfy_bridge_v0.32.zip is re-extracted automatically (the runtime zip has a new file name; local model files are preserved), and the viggle configs ship with the wheel — if the manager reports customized configs, accept Update configs to pick up the int8 text encoder (a .bak of the previous file is kept). The new text-encoder weights are downloaded on first use. In case of problems, the update rolls back by itself (the previous wheel stays in cache\); Repair recovers a partially applied update.

HAVC Assets v1.0.2
HAVC Assets v1.0.2 — stable asset bucket: comfy_bridge_v0.32.zip.
The vendored ComfyUI runtime zip now ships the qwen21-viggle cached text-encoder split colorize (Fast Pipeline) and the single-pass live path — these are the runtime changes used by HAVC installer v2.4.0 (about 2× faster qwen21-viggle colorization). diffusers and spatial_correlation_sampler are re-pinned here as well, so a single --bucket-tag v1.0.2 covers all pinned assets for the 2.4.0 installer. tools.zip/NVEncC remain in HAVC Assets v1.0.0 (URLs unchanged); vscmnet2 comes from dan64/vs-cmnet2.
These assets are not downloaded directly: the installer/manager reads the URLs and sha256 from the release manifest (release.json).
HAVC installer v2.3.1
HAVC installer v2.3.1 — close safely: confirmation on the window X, and no shutdown surprises.
Closing the GUI from the window X now asks for confirmation, and the dialog says what is at stake (a running job will be stopped, the GUI-managed server will be shut down, a scheduled shutdown will be cancelled). The Shutdown PC when finished flow is now fully reversible from inside the app: if you close the app before the scheduled shutdown fires, the pending shutdown /s /t 60 is aborted (shutdown /a) — previously the PC would power off even with the app already closed. This release also fixes a regression from 2.3.0: dropping a file in Input Video while an encoding/recolor was running could kill the running job with a main thread is not in main loop error; widget updates and reads from the worker threads now travel through the window's own event queue.
Start here:
- HAVC-Setup-2.3.1.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: 6563b687f7b68f9b34d5ed89903a592c0d867c6124b17a7313fb14a49d1c978d
- havc-2.3.1-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: d97fbd99fff31457d6947ac476de9b35c6733dbd4dd7c83160af99c60deb00b7
- release.json — the release manifest read by the installer/manager (sha256 for every artifact). Pinned packages live in the stable asset release HAVC Assets v1.0.1 (diffusers, spatial_correlation_sampler,
comfy_bridge_v0.31.zip);tools.zip/NVEncCstay in v1.0.0; vscmnet2 comes from dan64/vs-cmnet2.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, NVIDIA RTX 30/40/50, CUDA 13.0+. Model weights are downloaded on first use and preserved across updates.
Notes: installer releases (and their wheel) stay on the 2.x.x line; the 1.x.x tags are reserved for asset buckets. Updates from 2.3.0 are incremental and keep the existing installation folder; the GUI changes arrive with the wheel (the manager applies them to the installed GUI automatically). Closing the app also cancels a pending shutdown, so "shutdown when finished" remains safe when you decide to stop everything.

HAVC installer v2.3.0
HAVC installer v2.3.0 — quick video picking in the GUI, user files kept by the uninstaller, instant video-info probe.
The GUI Dashboard gains an Input Video field: drag & drop the video onto it, or pick it with Browse..., and the Extraction tab is filled in automatically (and vice versa).
Video info now appears instantly — the probe no longer loads the full VapourSynth/torch stack on every call (4.2s → 0.25s). The uninstaller now keeps all user files by default — models, the saved GUI settings and the config/ folder — so an uninstall + reinstall in place reuses everything without re-downloading (the dialog still asks before deleting them).
Start here:
- HAVC-Setup-2.3.0.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: 56de789b5a24b3731d852b7f718f7cf7e5dd4c136f2bbad92254b4373f7b46ec
- havc-2.3.0-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: 06fdbc897314b40e46bba7d0affe2ade8c5699678ae8c969a8cc66d888ebd837
Updates from 2.2.0 are incremental and keep the existing installation folder; a reinstall over a preserved folder reuses the models, the GUI settings and the pipeline configs (the manager asks before replacing any config that differs from the packaged one). User docs moved to docs/server_usage.md and docs/gui_usage.md.
Docs: docs/ in the repository.
HAVC installer v2.2.0
HAVC installer v2.2.0 — config-driven model selection and merged Viggle variants in the GUI.
The GUI model choice (tab 2) is now a Model Config combo listing every file in the config/ folder: adding a model means adding a config file, no code changes. New merged-LoRA qwen21-viggle variants ship as configs (soft_* = v0.3, sharp_* = v0.2.1 — int8 ConvRot and GGUF Q4), and the viggle loader can now load GGUF UNets (comfy_bridge v0.31). Existing installs migrate automatically to the new model_config setting (the previous Model Name/Precision choice is preserved). Launcher scripts also accept a config name directly (start_server.cmd <config-name>).
Start here:
- HAVC-Setup-2.2.0.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: 2be8620cb06b90df33a8359078ebbe6276078cb47c48c3f1b3ea9ccc99ff54db
- havc-2.2.0-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: 79a450479a2ea1974bad7402fa02b67fbdfddff987fe2ab11cd0be022caf23a1
- release.json — the release manifest read by the installer/manager (sha256 for every artifact).
Updates from 2.1.0 are incremental and keep the existing installation folder — the GUI settings file is migrated in place (a .bak is kept whenever a file is replaced). Of the merged variants, prefer int8_convrot for output quality; the GGUF Q4 download is smaller but in practice does not need less VRAM than int8.
HAVC installer v2.1.0
HAVC installer v2.1.0 — new "Mux all streams" option in the GUI.
The Encode/Merge tab has a new checkbox, Mux all streams.
When enabled, the final mkvmerge step also copies the other tracks of the source video (audio, subtitles and chapters) into the output MKV (the source's video track is dropped; the freshly encoded one wins). It applies to every final mux: x265 / x264 / NVEnc encode, the Video Merge step, and the Fix Video recolor. Off by default, so existing behavior is unchanged; the setting is saved in the GUI settings file.
Start here:
- HAVC-Setup-2.1.0.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: b20414a29d8fd503541d41bd061891351f860fbdc6ec4d4e905329752a87755d
- havc-2.1.0-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: 6848133741f55b825031eccfe592d7dd21723a7a5069c0c1e1fab61e0d9396e8
- release.json — the release manifest read by the installer/manager (sha256 for every artifact). The pinned packages and the ComfyUI runtime live in the stable asset release HAVC Assets v1.0.0; vscmnet2 comes from its own project release dan64/vs-cmnet2 v1.2.1.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, NVIDIA RTX 30/40/50, CUDA 13.0+. Model weights (tens of GB for the largest configs) are downloaded on first use and preserved across updates.
Notes: to update an existing installation, run the setup (or the installed HAVC Manager): it opens the HAVC is already installed page - click "Check for updates" there, as the new hint now says. Existing 2.0.x installs update in place; the GUI settings file gains one key (mux_all_streams), so the manager may offer the Update GUI settings prompt once (Yes = replace, previous file kept as .bak; No = keep). Installer releases (and their wheel) stay on the 2.x.x line; the 1.x.x tags are reserved for asset buckets.
HAVC Assets v1.0.1
Stable assets for the HAVC installer (referenced by the installer release.json; versioned file names are never replaced).
spatial_correlation_sampler-0.5.0-cp312-cp312-win_amd64.whl— pinned compiled wheeldiffusers-0.37.0.dev0-py3-none-any.whl— pinned diffusers buildcomfy_bridge_v0.31.zip— vendored ComfyUI runtime, updated 2026-10-07: adds GGUF UNet support to the qwen21-viggle pipeline (merged-LoRA checkpoints, e.g. the Q4_K_M variants);models/ships as an empty skeleton
Bucket update from v1.0.0: comfy_bridge refreshed (v0.30 → v0.31 — the new file name is what makes existing installs re-extract it; the bootstrap's .source marker only tracks the name). The two wheels are byte-identical to v1.0.0 and were re-uploaded so v1.0.1 works as the single --bucket-tag for the next installer release. tools.zip/NVEncC stay in HAVC Assets v1.0.0 (unchanged).
HAVC installer v2.0.1
HAVC installer v2.0.1 — GUI settings seeded from the project file.
The GUI settings file (gui_cmnet2_settings.json) is now seeded from the project's curated settings — the same file kept in GUI/ of the repository — instead of a minimal built-in seed: the curated values (prompts, thresholds, encoder preferences, window size) come installed, with the machine-specific paths rewritten for the install folder (base_dir/fixv_base_dir = <install>\gui\samples; default model from the RAM-based selection). On updates and repairs the manager offers to re-align an installed settings file that differs from the packaged defaults: Update GUI settings (Yes = replace, the previous file is kept as .bak; No = keep). Without confirmation the file is never overwritten.
Start here:
- HAVC-Setup-2.0.1.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: 2ea258633ada12493b36ae3361fcf166280c179196461f42fca65981cbe188a6

Notes: installer releases (and their wheel) stay on the 2.x.x line; the 1.x.x tags are reserved for asset buckets. Existing 2.0.0 installs update in place; the settings file is only replaced if you accept the Update GUI settings prompt.
