Extend statistic data with datetime

To show progress over time there should be datetime stored to be able the group by the data.

Furthermore there should be a table generated which can be supplied to org to generate a graph gnuplot or similar

The table is probably not needed, there could be a little org snippet here which does some importing and gnuplot.

Besides the existing median-calculation consider calculating following values in the display-statistic-function:

• oldest date of all entries
• newest date of all entries
• min
• max
• avg
• standard deviation
• Interquartile ranges
• antennas

In the future we may can add a cool ascii-statistic but displaying the data in a fancy way isn't really what speed-type is all about (display-statistic is already a step away from the core). So the focus should be: provide the data in a reasonable way so other programs can use these data.
It should be easy to call and combine some speed-type functions to get the wanted information for nice graphs etc.
Provide functions to load statistic and get a reasonable structure. Maybe also provide iterators so entries can be read one by one from a given buffer.

hi @dakra wanted to ask if you have any good idea how we could "ship" an org-snippet like in the example above (#112 (comment)).

The example above generates a 2d-diagram of net-wpm from the speed-type-statistic-file (using org-plot/gnuplot). The example is just a first draft of my idea. Plan is to "ship" a final-version variants and fancy analytic stuff added. This way, speed-type doesn't need any fancy ascii-statistic drawing code.

I kind of want only user which care about the feature to actually have that bloat.

• How much would a gnuplot-speed-type-statistic.org annoy users because it's bloat for them?
• Should I just let these users fork the repo if it's annoying for them?
• Should I provide this separately from the main repo?
• Did I already bloat speed-type so much, it doesn't even matter?
• We may have to start debug/fix bugs (non speed-type bugs) related to this org-file
  • apt is debian flavour
  • use-package and straight is user specific
  • gnuplot running on windows may act different than on linux
  • hooks a user may have on org-mode can interfere with something in that org-snippet causing problems which are totally unrelated to speed-type

Well, after writing all these questions, it's probably not the best idea.
