For security reasons, it would be better to mask passwords in connection strings displayed in the UI (and API). In the current version, all users with access to PGWatch can see the passwords for individual monitored databases.

This is by design. WebUI is an administration page where only admin operates. Everything else is done with Grafana dashboards

Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately, we have quite strict requirements regarding password handling and their display in the UI, even in an administrative interface. In such cases, the password display must be limited to a button action, or masked. So we will have to create a fork for our instance with this modification. Thanks for the response, I'm closing the issue.

I think this UI is only for testing purposes anyway. We plan to not use it in production at all (there is a way to disable it) and configure pgwatch through config files via gitlab pipelines.
