A secure bootloader for Specter-DIY. sha256.signed.txt contains hashes of the binaries signed with Stepan's gpg key available from https://stepansnigirev.com/ss-specter-release.asc.

To flash the board for the first time copy initial_bootloader_v1.0.0.bin via STLINK (when the board is connected via miniUSB) to the mounted DIS_F469NI volume.

To upgrade from previous versions (for example from no_rdp to protected one) put specter_upgrade_bootloader_v1.0.0.bin to the SD card and insert it to the discovery board. You will be asked to reboot the device twice in the process.

Content of the release:

  • initial_bootloader_no_rdp.bin - bootloader without read & write protection, good for testing.
  • initial_bootloader_v1.0.0.bin - bootloader with protections enabled
  • specter_upgrade_bootloader_v1.0.0.bin - upgrade file containing bootloader v1.0.0
