Hello,
There is a bug in Spark < 3 which prevent us from injecting SessionExtension from PySpark API. The bug has been fixed and merged in Spark 3 (apache#21990) but it has never been backported to previous versions. This PR backport the fix in Criteo-fork of Spark 2.4
