Paginated element index should keep track of selected elements across pages #4603

Sometimes you need to be able to select lots of elements at once (for example, to delete them or disable them, or apply a bulk edit operation). My solution to this used to be to lazy-load a bunch of pages of elements and then select them all.
The new pagination is definitely a step in the right direction, but there should be a way to maintain selected elements across different pages (and/or select all elements across all pages)
