Dropdown field default in settings when re-using

When re-using a dropdown field it would be great to be able to edit the default option. Currently it seems like if we want to have a field with a different default we would need to create a duplicate. For example we often have a dropdown field for spacing which we re-use throughout lots of modules with values: sml, med, lrg, huge etc...Ideally we would set different defaults for each module.

Something like this maybe?

Thanks for posting! This was previously requested by #8688. However there are some technical challenges that have prevented us from implementing it.
