CKEditor inserts empty paragraph after adding entry

Description

When adding entries to a CKEditor field, CKEditor automatically appends an empty paragraph and doesn't strip it on save. This behaviour might enhance the users editing flow, but most of our clients will never check the field for empty paragraphs before they click save – leading to unwanted gaps in the frontend.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a CKEditor field and add entry types
2. While editing an entry, add an entry type to the CKEditor field
3. CKEditor should append an empty paragraph

Hi, thanks for reaching out! That’s a fair point. Given that this doesn’t happen when inserting other block items (like image or video), it shouldn’t happen with the nested entries. I raised a PR for this.
