Sonoff bridge not sending code

When sending codes using the original remote they are correctly recieved.

However when sending the logs go:

writing data: '10;newkaku;00844266;a;off;\r\n'
waiting for acknowledgement
Message arrived 10;newkaku;00844266;a;off
got packet: 20;0D;OK;

And even though the device is right next to it does not switch.
Unfortunately I do not have an SDR to see if it did send a code.

Are there any steps I can take to ensure it should send?
Is this software not sending it, or a hardware failure?
