This seems like a great way to handle config values which can otherwise be spread all over, be misspelled, etc. It might also help with mocking api clients, etc.

If anyone was wondering, the Config attribute was released with Laravel 11.14 as:

In one of my projects, tables are configured in a config file with lots of nested arrays. Since the file isn’t type-safe, I solved this by creating a DTO with typed properties. I then mapped the config data to a Fluent object and used helper methods like ->string and ->boolean to set the values.

For the nested arrays I created separate (nested) classes, and as a small bonus I made the DTO’s constructor private so it can only be initialized through the Table component that uses it.
