How to use this package with just desktop ?

Is there are plan or branch that can use CMakeList and C++ like this but in linux?

The current repository does not support linux. However, I looked through the existing forks, and there is this one that implemented the CLIENT in linux. However, the SERVER still runs on the raspberry PI. I hope it helps.
