App Open ads not showing on iOS (using AdMob plugin) #869

I’ve been noticing for a while that App open ads are not showing on my iOS apps. I’m using the AdMob plugin (pure AdMob, no wrappers).
Today I did a full check through my Apple console across all my iOS apps, and I confirmed that none of them are showing App open ads at all.
The strange thing is that on Android, everything works perfectly, App open ads show fine there.
This issue has been around for a while. I’m not exactly sure when it started, but I remember that at least two years ago it didn’t happen. A bit later I noticed it and tried to fix it, but then I realized my implementation was fine (all other ad formats show correctly, and the App open IDs in my apps are set up properly). So I’m pretty sure some Solar2D update from less than two years ago caused this bug.
I can confirm that this has been happening at least since build 2025.3714, because I found a post in the Solar2D forum where I mentioned this bug when I first detected it using Solar2D 2025.3714. Since no one replied and it still hasn’t been resolved to this day, I’ve created this issue.
