ValidationError when using custom deserializers

I have followed the instructions to install custom deserializers as explained in https://docs.conduktor.io/platform/guides/custom-deserializers/#install-your-custom-deserializer

However, when I try to apply any of the examples to an existing topic, I receive the following error:
