missing_ok_age DAYS config or option?

In the light of recent tune ups to tolerate missing logs etc, I wonder if we should add some explicit configuration (or option?) to explicitly annotate that it is ok to just skip runs for which there seems to be lacking information if they are older than that age. Then during initial run(s) we could allow for old/expired runs to lack all the records, but then after switching to CRON to comment out/remove that option since we would be expecting all recent to be available. WDYT @jwodder ?
