What about Debug buld, default is release?

Is it possible to get some additional details on debug vs release? It seems the compiler flags would be the spot, however we don't have any details in the docs. For example it seems that neutralinojs should be a debug build as the default, but I am not really sure and before digging it would be nice to understand the intent of the authors.
