BUG: Parent window not refreshing using the hashtag URL format

This issue is related to how browsers handle hashtags in the URL. From this point on, the system will use the standard **?** character as the delimiter for app selection.

Example:

`./?https://www.google.com/` instead of `./#https://www.google.com`

**IMPORTANT NOTES**
- With this release, any URLs using the hashtag delimiter will no longer work.
- Please update your bookmarks!
