…dotgg#12006) Desktop updates deleted the managed tunnel at shutdown, so remote clients spent about two minutes reconnecting after an 11 second restart. The desktop app now writes a restart marker before it stops its backends for any install, local or remote. The server keeps the tunnel when it finds a fresh marker at shutdown and consumes it. Failed or interrupted installs delete the marker. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Pin each terminal status pulse to the document timeline when it starts, so running-terminal icons in both sidebars and the command palette share one cycle. Terminal pulses now respect prefers-reduced-motion. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

The Linux release build now also makes a .deb in the same electron-builder run as the AppImage, and the release publishes it. electron-builder lists it in latest-linux.yml and writes resources/package-type into it, so the app updates a .deb install through electron-updater, which installs the new .deb with dpkg. The desktop updater now allows that path. The .deb uses xz in threaded mode (XZ_DEFAULTS=-T0): 113 MB in place of 141 MB with gzip. The Linux arm64 release job moves to a 16-vCPU Blacksmith arm64 runner. The download page, README, install guide, and release docs list the .deb. Based on community work in pingdotgg#4071, pingdotgg#5139, pingdotgg#4900, and pingdotgg#4887. Temp directories on macOS live behind the /var -> /private/var symlink, so paths reported by git and by realpath-following skill discovery did not match the raw mkdtemp result. Both test helpers now realpath the directory. The background-fetch env test set GIT_SSH, which a global core.sshCommand silently overrides. It now sets GIT_SSH_COMMAND, which git gives precedence. Thread transfer impact✅ Thread transfer remains within every enforced ceiling.
Baseline: Scenario and decoded snapshot size10 historical turns, 5 command tools per turn, 878.9 KiB retained MCP result per historical turn, and a 1.05 MiB retained result in the measured turn.
Updated in place by a trusted workflow. PR artifacts are strictly validated and never executed. |
Upstream now forbids raw Tailwind palette colors and unknown classes. The automation status dots use the success theme token, and the Skills heading drops the undeclared font-heading class. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Upstream sync
Merges 57 commits from pingdotgg/t3code (through
d06f0ff1"fix(sqlite): retry failed statement preparations") into the fork as a single two-parent merge commit. Every fork feature survives; no fork change was dropped.Conflicts resolved
apps/server/src/persistence/Migrations.ts: upstream took migration 054 for auto-settle. The fork's Notes migration moved to055_Notes.ts/ registry entry 55.apps/web/src/components/chat/ChatHeader.tsxandChatView.tsx: upstream rewrote the reserved-padding and transition classes in newer Tailwind syntax. Kept the fork's terminal-toggle spacing fix expressed in that syntax.apps/web/src/routes/__root.tsx: the auto-merge produced a duplicateisElectronimport; kept upstream's alias form.Test fixes
Four server tests failed on macOS before and after the sync:
/var -> /private/varsymlink, so paths reported by git and by symlink-following skill discovery never matched the rawmkdtempresult. The git driver and skill-file test helpers now realpath the temp directory.GIT_SSH, which a globalcore.sshCommandsilently overrides on developer machines. It now setsGIT_SSH_COMMAND, which git gives precedence.Verification

Please merge this with "Create a merge commit". Squash or rebase would flatten the two-parent merge and make the next upstream sync re-conflict on everything. The current ruleset only allows squash and rebase, so it needs the merge-commit method enabled first.
