Do not merge this PR. I'm opening it just for visibility. We should attempt to get this change merged to the upstream repository. This change was implemented in response to a need that arose on the Carvana Collective: Mobile Experience project.
All changes contained in this PR were incorporated as a git patch and are being applied after running yarn using
patch-packagenode package.
