Stopped connecting to our DB2 from version 1.10.0 to 1.10.1

1. right click on any job (in the SQL Job Manager) and select the option to enabing tracing
3. Job says spinning up and never gets created, so I can't right click on the job

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. On a fresh computer reinstalled VSCode and got the same error
2. Revert to 1.10.0 and it works, upgrade any futher and it stops

Expected behavior

A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

Schemas etc all work on 1.10.0 and less, after this it effectively hangs

Environment

• OS: Windows 10
• Extension Version 1.10.0 ok, higher breaks
• AS400/iSeries is V7R3M0

Happy to get more, I am more of a causal user of VSCODE but technically literate enough to follow any instructions/edit configs etc, can run commands on iSeries

Let's collect some logs:

I'm VS Code, go to the Output tab on the bottom panel, then on the dropdown to the right of the panel select Db2 for i from the list. Select all the logs and paste it here.

Initial reaction is related to Java version, which we have a fix for soon.

Really sorry, I upgraded but something must have been cached, you are correct it is a Java version issue, thanks for pointing out the different output selectors.

I don't know if this is something you would change, so I'll investigate updating our Java.

@chriswnz no problem! We are working on supporting older versions of Java in a coming update as it did before.
