Speed displayed on player does not reflect the ImprovedTube-adjusted speed

I recently set the default playback speed to 1.5x. While the videos do play at the faster rate, the player says the speed is still 1.0x.

The player used to show the adjusted speed (as long it was a multiple of 0.25) but I think something changed with a recent update.
