It would likely take reaching out to Logitech, but is there any reason why this could not use the TrueForce SDK for Logitech wheels to drive both the vibrotactile and kinematic FFB ?

I'd be happy to help facilitate contact. Normally they work directly with developers to put in the API support, but given S397's relative lack of interest in supporting things like FullForce and TrueForce, it would be incredible if this did it.

Funny, I had the same thought yesterday and tried to find information about SDKs etc. Then it occurred to me that even if it was possible to implement, it's questionable how much benefits it would have. I haven't dived into it enough to know for sure, but from what I can tell Trueforce is something that you put on top of the existing FFB to introduce another layer of feedback. To do that you would probably need more data than what's available in the currently exposed telemetry and I assume that's the reason game developers need to implement it in the game core.
