Add support for the info endpoint to take a GET request

Right now the info endpoint requires a POST of a JSON. It should also accept a GET with query params.

I took a look at this, and it isn't as trivial as it looks. Right now, we map one handler to one endpoint, and to do this, we'll need to think about a sustainable, robust mechanism for supporting multiple methods, and ensure that we have the test coverage in place to ensure the correct implementation of said mechanism.
