This release pertains to data format recommendations (as opposed to the engine that stores and visualizes them, i.e. the SIS). The goal is to reproduce the current recommendations as published by some centres, with varying structure and varying granularity, within the structure set by the Standards Information System.
The recommendations are not meant to be "accurate" -- that is because mapping from what the individual centres publish onto SIS is going to require quite a bit of interpretation, often with insufficient data, which often means best guesses. Rather, version 1.0 is going to be a demonstration of the current capacities of the SIS and be open to fine-tuning by centre representatives.
