Question: how to run this mcp-server-docker container directly?

Hello, this is more a support request than a software issue.

I want to run this mcp-server-docker Dockerfile directly. I'm not using Claude or something like that.
I just want to run it as container so that I can connect afterwards with a mcp client and use.

How should I start it? I tried different things but nothing worked.
I was able to run it from the git directly under ubuntu using uv but I want that it runs in docker.

Also what I dont understand is at which port it will listen? I dont see any configuration possibilities.

This MCP only supports stdio for transport. I recommend using mcp-proxy in SSE to stdio mode to expose mcp-server-docker on a port. It seems like the easiest way will be with docker compose after cloning the mcp-proxy repository:

Full disclosure: I haven't tested the docker-compose.yml above, just an educated guess based on a cursory glance at the mcp-proxy readme
