This is a minor redesign of the site. Right now, it's just a simplification of the main page. The hero image has been combined with the text and made a background image so that everything scales properly no matter what the browser size is. The color can be changed, of course, but I was hoping to stay away from the very common blue/red scheme for civic sites in general and DC sites specifically.
I'm also hoping to make the About page more useful, which might include breaking the many sections up into a few separate pages.
