Canvas templates fail with 'Template file not found' error when .md extension is incorrectly appended

Describe the bug
Unable to add QuickAdd template when using Canvas as a template.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
0. Inside QuickAdd Setting

1. Set name 'Insert Canvas'
2. Click on 'Add Choice'
3. Click ⚙︎ (Cogwheel)
4. Set "Template path" = Template/Canvas.canvas
5. Toggle "Append link"
6. Toggle "Open"
7. Exit setting
8. Use the QuickAdd inside a note

Expected behavior
A link to the newly created Canvas note appears inside the note where I initialized QuickAdd. The Canvas note opens and is in focus.

Acutal results
QuickAdd: (ERROR) Could not create file
with template:

Template file not found at path
"Templates/Canvas.canvas.md".

Find a solution yet? I have been trying to work with MCP's to try to find a way for QuickAdd not to add the .MD to everything.

This issue has been resolved in PR #831. QuickAdd now fully supports using files as templates.

Canvas templates work exactly like markdown templates - just use a canvas file as your template path.

How to Use

1. Create a canvas template file (e.g., Templates/MyCanvas.canvas)
2. In QuickAdd settings, set your template path to the canvas file: Templates/MyCanvas.canvas
3. When you run the template, it will create a new canvas file with the correct .canvas extension
