[BUG] No longer adding front matter into new files after latest obsidian update

After the latest update (1.11.4 (277)), QuickAdd and Templater are no longer working.

Specifically, I have Templater prompt me for input and then that input is used to generate front matter in new files. All that was working on both mobile and desktop before the update. Now the new files are created, but without any front matter at all, regardless if I include any of the promoted variables in it.

I have opened up the console, and no errors occur. I just get log level output (not and error) from QuickAdd saying that no template variables were captured.

What happened? Can you please fix this bug ASAP?

Thanks for reporting this. To investigate properly, I need a bit more detail about your setup:

Questions:

1. Do you have the beta feature "Format template variables as proper property types" enabled in QuickAdd settings?

2. You mention "log level output from QuickAdd saying that no template variables were captured" - could you share the exact console message? (Open DevTools with Ctrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Option+I and check the Console tab)

3. Are you using QuickAdd's {{VALUE:xxx}} syntax in your template, or only Templater's <% tp.system.prompt() %> syntax?

Reproduction setup needed:

If possible, please share:

1. Your template file (the .md file used as template)
2. Your QuickAdd choice configuration (screenshot or export)
3. If using a macro: the script code
4. Before/after example: what the created file looks like now vs. what it should look like

A minimal reproduction case would be ideal - the simplest template + config that demonstrates the issue.

Note: QuickAdd 2.10.0 includes a fix for Templater 2.18 compatibility (#1087). If you haven't updated yet, please try the latest version first.
